It's not that they messed with anything, but rather that BBC was only added to the forums. You can use it in your signature because the signature is handled through the forums. This area is completely separate and they added support for only a few html codes.

Yeah I know... just sniveling. I liked the forums. This area is taking some getting used to, at least for doing the fancier stuff. html had become pretty much a dead language for me, I rarely use it. I was just learning BBC (even though it's sort of a dead language too I suppose) The whole update was actually the messing w things I was talking about. I think this is better anyway, in the long run.
